The official Prince of Persia Twitter account has shared an update on the development of the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake. The game was originally being developed by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai and received some criticism upon its reveal regarding its visual style and tone. Ubisoft Montreal are the original developers of the Sands of Time Trilogy, so the game should hopefully be in good hands. In the message the team said that they will continue to build on the ground work laid down by both Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai. Because the development is now being led by Ubisoft Montreal, it is not clear when the game is likely to surface, so fans could be waiting a while. Ubisoft thanks Prince of Persia fans for their patience and a progress update will be shared at a future date.<\/p>\n
