Until now, the metaverse has been a preserve of large private corporations and upcoming but well-funded startups.<\/p>\n

The term has taken the world by storm, and there is a strong feeling that this is the next evolution of the internet.<\/p>\n

Now, government bodies are seeking a piece of the action. The United States Airforce (USAF) is the first of these. It has filed a trademark application for \u2018SpaceVerse\u2019.<\/p>\n

The application was reportedly submitted to the US Patent and Trademark Office on April 14. Trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis was first to make the discovery.<\/p>\n
