Apex Legends publishers EA have turned on their decision regarding the payment of expenses for the professional teams that will compete at an upcoming LAN event in Sweden.<\/p>\n

The developers behind the popular Battle Royale title had received a ton of hate from the game’s massive community, which features both professional and casual players, after it was revealed that only half of the 40 teams that qualified for the event will receive the funding for their travel expenses.<\/p>\n

Following the backlash, EA were quick to correct their mistake as earlier today they announced that all 40 of the teams that will head to Stockholm for the event will receive monetary backing for their travels.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve heard your feedback regarding travel. As a result, we\u2019ve made the decision to cover travel expenses for all starting players participating at live events for the remainder of Year 2.<\/p>\n
