The Vampire Survivors roadmap to\u00a0release date has arrived,\u00a0revealing all the additions\u00a0planned for\u00a0the roguelike game between now and its final version 1.0. Developer Poncle says that Vampire Survivors is currently at \u201c70% content completion\u201d but has \u201cexpanded significantly\u201d from its original plans.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s already one of the best vampire games on PC and it\u2019s technically not even come out yet, as Vampire Survivors is still in Steam Early Access. Thanks to its addictive gameplay and low price point, it quickly became a massive success on Steam.\u00a0Poncle confirms that the\u00a0DLC they\u2019d envisioned is releasing at\u00a0\u201ca much faster pace than anticipated\u201d thanks to players\u2019 support, and consequently \u201cthe roadmap has also been expanded significantly\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a new blog post, Poncle runs down all the new features\u00a0planned for the game between now and its 1.0 release. This includes the \u201cmajor new mechanic\u201d promised for next month, Arcanas, and the developer aims to add a\u00a0second equally big game-changing mechanic in the future \u2013 possibly \u201csome kind of Endless mode\u201d.<\/p>\n

Currently, Vampire Survivors is around 70% content complete and includes the following:<\/p>\n

Playable characters: 15 \/ 24<\/li>\n
Weapons and evolutions: 32 \/ 48<\/li>\n
Power-ups: 18 \/ 20<\/li>\n
Normal Stages: 3 \/ 5<\/li>\n
Special Stages: 2 \/ 5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Poncle says that it has doubled the number of stages and characters that were originally planned, thanks to the game\u2019s positive reception from players.<\/p>\n
