Slaycation Paradise<\/em> answer the question no-one asked \u2013 \u201cWhat if Doctor Who\u2019s<\/em> Autons were sex dolls instead of shop dummies?\u201d<\/h4>\n

That\u2019s probably not what developer Affordable Acquisition wanted us to take away from Slaycation Paradise\u2019s<\/em> trailer. And, to be fair, there\u2019s more to the game than just that. It\u2019s a top-down title that mashes up tower defence and horde shooter elements, all in the name of having a good holiday.<\/p>\n

Slaycation Paradise\u2019s<\/em> premise is that people pay to visit other dimensions, mainly where everything\u2019s gone to hell, and slaughter their way through wave after wave of enemies. Zombie world? Check. Alien invasion world? Check. You get the picture.<\/p>\n

And it looks as it if could be fun; we\u2019re suckers for a good top-down shooter and the tower defence feature could help keep things fresh. Your holiday maker can both respawn and unlock new weapons so there\u2019s another reason to keep playing. We\u2019re hoping there\u2019s some kind of photo mode where you can \u201csend\u201d postcard, but that\u2019ll depend on how heavily Affordable are leaning into the holidaymaker angle.<\/p>\n
